Here are the steps to put bearings into roller skate wheels:
Remove the old bearings from the wheel, if necessary. You can use a bearing press or a bearing tool to remove them.
Clean the wheel hub and the bearing housing with a dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
Take one of the bearings and hold it with your thumb and forefinger. Place it into the bearing housing in the center of the wheel.
Push the bearing into the housing with your thumb, making sure it is seated all the way in.
Take the second bearing and repeat the process on the opposite side of the wheel.
Use a bearing press or a bearing tool to ensure that the bearings are fully seated and secured in place.
Spin the wheel to make sure the bearings are seated correctly and there are no issues with the movement of the wheel.
Repeat the process for all of the wheels on your roller skates.
Note: Be sure to use the correct size bearings for your roller skate wheels. If you’re unsure, consult with a skate shop or do some research to ensure that you’re using the right bearings.
